Southern States Places 10,000th Truck In Service
This week the Southern States location in Springfield, Ken., was surprised to receive a very special delivery. The co-op location will put into service the 10,000th truck built for Southern States. It’s a 2019 International HV607 powered by a 370 HP Cummins engine with a New Leader L3220 G4 spreader body.
According to Thurman Register, fleet manager for Southern States, the co-op didn’t start using truck numbering records until 1950. But since that time, they have kept records of trucks built in sequential order.
The 10,000th truck features a specialized graphic wrap on the hood and fenders.
