Illinois Fertilizer and Chemical Association Announces New Board Members

The Illinois Fertilizer & Chemical Association (IFCA) could not hold its popular winter convention in Peoria, Illinois, but with an optimistic start to 2021, the Association held an on-line business meeting on January 20, 2021 and announced its newly elected and re-elected board members. In the meeting, IFCA also reported on the Association’s activities, their 2021 scholarship recipients and provided an update from the IL Dept of Agriculture on pesticide testing. A recording of the IFCA business meeting is available here.
 
Newly elected IFCA board members are Dustin Ehler and John Swanson. Dustin is with Ehler Brothers Company in Thomasboro, and John is with Wabash Valley Service Company in Mt. Carmel. IFCA members re-elected two current board members, Bryan Fairfull and Nate Todd. Bryan is with M & M Service Company in Carlinville and Nate is with Tri-County Seeds in Sciota.  
 
Tadgh Davis with The Mosaic Company is the 2021 IFCA Board Chairman.  Tadgh is from Petersburg.  
Other IFCA board members are Josh Allen (Brandt), Mike Koenigs (Corteva), Mike Harriss (Winfield United), Aaron Hunsinger (BASF), Dave Myers (CHS), Nate Pierce (Gold Star FS), Bob Spratt (Leroy Fertilizer), Meg Steward (AGI Fertilizer Systems), Greg Taylor (The Equity) and Paul Whitworth (Nutrien). Jeremy Maloney with Tri-County Chemical in Eldorado served as the 2020 Board Chair and will serve a final year on the Board as Past Chair. 

The IFCA is a membership association with headquarters in Bloomington, IL.  IFCA represents the businesses and individuals who provide crop protection, nutrients, seed, equipment, and agronomic services to Illinois farmers.  IFCA is the leading voice for the ag input industry in Illinois with over 1,000 business members.
