Website Promotes Propane۪s Versatility on the Farm

The Propane Education & Research Council is launching a new microsite that highlights propane’s numerous benefits and versatility on the farm. At www.propanecandothat.com, visitors can access information about new farm equipment powered by clean, American-made propane, including video testimonials, case studies, photos, and more.

The website was created to showcase the many benefits of new, innovative propane technology and the variety of equipment available, including:

·  Irrigation engines

·  Grain dryers

·  Building heat

·  Power generators

·  Forklifts

·  Home applicances

·  Vehicles

·  Mowers

·  Flame weeding systems

“Propane use on the farm has continued to grow more prevalent in recent years. There are still some ag producers who don’t know about all the new technologies built to use clean, American propane,” said Cinch Munson, director of agriculture business development at PERC. “This microsite shows consumers the many benefits of next-generation propane equipment and how it differs from propane equipment of the past. These benefits — combined with the fuel’s reduced costs and emissions and increased efficiency — are why many producers now consider propane the ‘farm fuel of the future.’”

PERC has teamed up with several equipment manufacturers to completely revamp traditional propane technology and introduce a wide variety of highly efficient, powerful propane technologies.  These technologies received excellent feedback from users, including a 4.5 average rating on a 5-point scale in the most recent Propane Farm Incentive Program.
