John Deere Introduces 1,200 Gal. R4044 Sprayer
John Deere adds the R4044 sprayer to its 4-Series sprayer lineup. The R4044 sprayer has a 1,200 gal. capacity and is 9% lighter than the R4045 sprayer.
“Oftentimes, application windows are very narrow, so having a sprayer that can quickly handle the jobs with less crop damage or impact on the soil is a big advantage,” explains Doug Felter, product marketing manager for John Deere application equipment.
With a balanced power-to-weight ratio, the sprayer is powered by a 325 hp, 9.0 L PowerTech engine.
Like other 4 Series sprayers, the R4044 sprayer is outfitted with ExactApply, AutoTrac Vision, AutoTrac Row Sense, and the 4600 CommandCenter display.
The R4044 Sprayer has VF tires for superior traction and reduced soil impact. Its steel booms are up to 120’ and carbon fiber booms are an option at 120’ or 132’ widths. A 200-cubic-foot drybox option is also available.
