Planters Finally Roll for #Plant19
While it already seems like an arduous planting season, little seed has actually hit the ground. However, good weather has finally hit the Midwest and planters are rolling. Farmers took to Twitter to share how planting is going so far.

Planted the home farm this weekend. We are planting into green #CoverCrop and directly onto our #StripTill. We won’t terminate the cover for another couple days, since it’s still fairly small (the winter wheat is anyway) and we want it to get growing again. #Plant19 #4RPlus pic.twitter.com/bCqTWerHPg — Mitchell Hora (@ContinuumAgLLC) April 22, 2019

My obligatory #plant19 post. Stabbing a few soybeans into seed rye. Planning to harvest the rye then come back for the soybeans. Determining if we can make moar $ together than apart. @alamundson pic.twitter.com/H3SIBAqKuS — Adam Norby (@ajnorby) April 22, 2019
