Mustang Seed Partners with GDM Seeds
To bring new genetics and innovative technology to its seed line-up, Mustang Seeds, Inc. and GDM have entered into a new partnership. This is the first joint venture for family-owned Mustang Seeds.
The two companies worked together to develop a plan with the ultimate goal of developing new products and services for American farmers.
“Our customers’ profitability and their needs have always been the number one focus of Mustang Seeds,” said Terry Schultz, CEO of Mustang Seeds in a recent press release. “This partnership with GDM will allow Mustang Seeds to deliver exclusive, new products to our customers.”
GDM is also family owned and indicates this joint venture marks a milestone for the company.
“Through Mustang Seeds in-depth knowledge of the American producer and its vast distribution network, GDM will deliver the best genetics to the American farmers,” said Ignacio Bartolome, U.S. and Canada business director for GDM Seeds. “We both share a vision and commitment to our customers and their growth.”
In addition to the joint venture, Mustang’s owners created a new company named Red Horse Seed Production Inc. Operations and distribution of all seed for Mustang Seeds and other affiliated companies will be the new company’s focus.
