"After this year there's probably a situation now where we can use this technology to push our planting window just a little bit into more marginal conditions," says Ken Ferrie.

Solinftec had developed its artificial intelligence assistant ALICE, which is designed to integrate ag data from machinery, people, climate and relevant external inputs.
“Data Visualization is a key to helping growers understand their yield efficiency as their measure of success using a Yield Efficiency Score,” said Darren Fehr, director of sales and marketing.
MKC’s precision ag program has grown every year since it began in 2009 from grid sampling and VRT applying about 2,000 acres to touching almost 100,000 acres with some form of precision ag in 2017.
This year is the silver anniversary of the first commercial combine yield monitor hitting the market. For all intents and purposes, that technology’s introduction marked the beginning of “precision agriculture.”
