Verdesian Life Sciences announces Clare Doyle as its new Chief Executive Officer.

Fred Lynch has served as interim CEO for 5 months since Kenny Avery’s departure. Lynch will become Verdesian Board Chairman.

“Over the last four months, the selection committee of the Verdesian Board of Directors has been hard at work considering and interviewing a large set of very capable candidates to take the reins as CEO at Verdesian,” said Fred Lynch, interim CEO. “It was evident that Clare possessed the business and technical skills, strategic vision and leadership talent to guide Verdesian to the next level of performance across all functions.”

Doyle has a 35-year career spanning multiple industries. Doyle most recently served as the Chief Sustainability Officer for Masonite International, a company she was with since 2016. Doyle was with Elementis PLC as Vice President of Marketing. And she spent 11 years at Rohm and Haas Company in various roles in Electronic Materials, Architectural & Functional Coatings, and Corporate Development.

“Verdesian holds a special place in the marketplace as the leader in nutrient use efficiency products,” said Doyle in the news announcement. “Our products make a difference to our customers, our growers, to the environment and to the world. I’m very excited to join the team and continue the work that has been going on for more than a decade now.”

She will take her leadership role at Verdesian in mid-August.
