Regev Hybrid Fungicide Receives California Registration
The California Department of Pesticide Regulation has approved the use of Regev hybrid fungicide in the state.
Summit Agro says Regev is the first hybrid fungicide, as it brings together the disease fighting power of botanical and conventional chemistries. Specifically, the product combines Tea Tree Extract (FRAC BM01) with difenoconazole (FRAC 3) - providing California growers disease control from nine mechanisms of activity.
“Regev provides the trifecta of disease protection, which is preventative, curative and anti-sporulant control” said Eric Tedford, Summit Agro R&D manager.
In California, Regev will be particularly beneficial to grape and almond growers. Other labeled crops include brassica leafy vegetables, fruiting vegetables and berries.
