CHS Inc. has signed a distribution agreement with M.S. Technologies, L.L.C. to offer a new line of Enlist E3 soybeans to growers this fall. The new line, Attain soybean seed, provides tolerance to glufosinate, 2,4-D choline, and glyphosate herbicides.

Through this agreement, CHS and M.S. Technologies are working to provide more options for handling the most troublesome herbicide-resistant weeds.

“Our farmer-owners and customers face challenges when it comes to herbicide and weed management,” said Dean Hendrickson, CHS vice president of research and development. “As their advisors, we seek to build trust, provide robust solutions and give them an array of offerings. Making Enlist E3 soybeans available to our farmer-owners gives them new options for handling troublesome weeds.”

CHS has been working to expand its agronomy distribution assets, capabilities and expertise by building a full-service agronomy offering.

“We are continuing to work strategically to build the right partnerships and product offerings that bring economic and agronomic benefits to our farmer-owners and customers,” said Trevor Varilek, CHS director of seed marketing. “This agreement will provide farmer-owners the choice to experience the genetics in the Enlist E3 soybean system along with the industry leading products CHS has available.”
