Ceres Solutions' Crops 63 Wins The Scoop’s Business Innovation Award
Due to its achievements in digital transformation, Ceres Solutions has been named the 2022 recipient of The Scoop’s Business Innovation Award, sponsored by EFC Systems by Ever.Ag. The award was presented at the Agricultural Retailers Association Conference and Expo on Dec. 1 in San Diego.
“Ag retailers are being asked to serve customers in new ways, be leaders in technology and find higher efficiencies in their business,” said Margy Eckelkamp, editor of The Scoop. “It is our goal to highlight the work being done to create this change and show excellence in the ag retail business.”
The Business Innovation Award recognizes ag retailers who demonstrate digital transformation in their business. These include outstanding examples of how ag retailers are taking their ERP, agronomics and business data to elevate how they serve customers and build a sustainable business. It is awarded to a single ag retail location in the U.S. and its team.
Indiana-headquartered Ceres Solutions’ location at Crops 63 illustrates what the organization has been able to achieve in taking its ERP, agronomics and business data to elevate how it serves customers and builds a sustainable business. Starting with its seed business, technology is now part of the DNA at Ceres Solutions and the team at Crops 63.
“Ceres Solutions Crops 63 and the entire Ceres team is proud to be recognized as the Business Innovation Award winner,” said Uriah Paddock, seed ag data lead at Ceres Solutions. “We’ve realized over our 10-year journey that while the work can be a heavy lift at times, it has paid dividends to improve our business, our customers’ experience and our team’s quality of work.”
In its first year, the award program received a strong pool of applications. The program will continue with EFC Systems by Ever.Ag for 2023 and 2024. Applications will open soon.
“EFC Systems by Ever.Ag supports ag retailers in their journey to provide farmers with the best customer experience, leading-edge products and top-quality services. This industry has many stories of change and innovation, and the team at Crops 63 has exemplified what is able to be achieved,” said Ernie Chappell, president and founder of EFC Systems by Ever.Ag.
