Brandt, a leading retailer of professional agronomic services and manufacturer of specialty input products, has re-organized its marketing function and promoted three into new positions. These promotions are designed to enable the marketing group to continue to support the company’s rapid global growth.

Rod Riech, currently marketing director, Agronomic Services, is being promoted to Senior Marketing Director, North America. In this new role, Riech will help manage and lead Brandt’s US marketing team; he will continue to report to Karl Barnhart, Brandt Chief Marketing Officer.

“Rod has been my right-hand man since my first day at Brandt,” said Barnhart. “This just publicly acknowledges and formalizes what he’s already been doing. Rod is the consummate professional: There’s no one I trust more to mentor, lead and manage the North American marketing team.”

Jared Brown, currently events manager, is being promoted to Marketing Director, Agronomic Services. Brown will be responsible for marketing efforts and community relationships within Brandt’s central Illinois retail business. He will help protect and grow Brandt’s positive reputation in the communities the company serves while supporting Brandt’s core agronomic business. Brown will report into the Senior Marketing Director, North America.

Alex Lovdahl, currently customer experience manager, is being promoted to Marketing Director, Insights & Analytics. This new role is designed to help bring a data-driven approach to Brandt Marketing. Lovdahl will be responsible for identifying key industry trends, leading primary & secondary research projects, and mining the company’s various customer & prospect databases. Lovdahl will report into the Senior Marketing Director, North America.

“I’m thrilled to announce these changes,” explained Barnhart. “We’ve built an incredible marketing function, with creative, dedicated professionals who deliver every day. These changes reward the team’s good work, build a more responsive leadership structure and enable us to support our business partners as we grow the business and delight our end customers together.”
