TeeJet Technologies has announced a new electromagnetic flow meter: the FM9380-F75. The company says the design will require no service, has no maintenance requirements and will never need field calibration.

“The innovative product was designed with today’s spraying applications in mind,” says Doug Gamm, sales and marketing direction for precision farming products at TeeJet Technologies. “It requires no maintenance, is easy to connect to your TeeJet control system or other control systems as well. The FM9380 is designed for years of trouble-free operation.”

Optimized for agricultural application equipment, the flow meter was built to have no moving parts to avoid clogs and can handle flow rates ranging from 0.6 GPM to 100 GPM. It has a low pressure drop of 4 psi at 100 psi and is rated to a maximum pressure rating of 200 psi.

“The unprecedented wide flow range means it can handle the widest booms, but also provide flawless performance with just 1 or 2 nozzles spraying,” Gamm says.

According to TeeJet, FM9380 is unaffected by changes in fluid temperature, density, viscosity, concentration and electrical conductivity. It’s compatible with TeeJet 74 series and Banjo 200 series flanged connections as well as any conducting fluid.
