As it continues to develop the core technologies from its acquisitions of SmartAg and Dot, Raven announces its brand for driverless technology going forward. OMNi will currently include two products: OMNiDRIVE (which replaces the AutoCart name) and OMNiPOWER (which replaces the Dot brand)

“Empowering ‘all’ is exactly what OMNiPOWER and OMNiDRIVE bring to the agriculture industry. OMNi enables holistic, hands-free precision; it gives the farmer total control of their time and maximizes operational productivity and efficiency,” Nick Langerock, Director of Strategic Marketing for Raven said in the company’s announcement. “As we bring OMNi to market, we want farmers to understand that some of their pain points are now more manageable through autonomous solutions. OMNi solutions allow the farmer to trust the routine tasks to automation and focus on the important farm functions.”

Raven’s announcement says the company will continue to pursue multiple paths to autonomy.

For OMNiDRIVE Raven says they have already had more than three dozen pre-orders.

Currently, OMNiDRIVE is available on John Deere 8R tractors with Powershift and IVT (model years 2010 through current models). Available in October 2021, the company will have compatibility with Case IH Magnum CVT (2014-2020 models): M250 / 280 / 310 / 340 / 380 as well as New Holland CVT (2014-2020 models): T8.320 / 350 / 380 / 410 / 435.

For the OMNiPOWER product, Raven is partnering with OEM companies on implement development and release. The projected date for orders to open is June 1, 2021 with delivery in the fall of 2021.
