Applications are open for this year’s ARA Distinguished Service Award, which honors a member of the association who has gone the extra mile to serve ARA and ag retail overall.

The person who receives this award may come from any of ARA’s membership categories: retail, distributor, or manufacturer of equipment, chemicals and fertilizer. Last year’s awardee was Toby M. Hlavinka, president and CEO of American Plant Food. Hlavinka was chosen for his work as the ARAPAC Committee chair as well as his ability to handle an emergency situation.

Nominations can be made through the application on ARA’s website until July 1, 2024. The winner will be selected by the ARA Executive Committee from the submitted nominations.
