Nichino America Announces Promotions

Brent Byers is named senior manager of strategic planning and business development, and Amanda Carson is now eastern region sales manager.

Effective May 1, 2021, Brent Byers has been named Senior Manager of Strategic Planning and Business Development for Nichino America.

He had been with the company since 2019, and in the new role, Byers will be responsible for the licensing businesses for Nichino America.

“Brent’s varied background in sales, marketing, and logistics in the crop protection sector will bring tremendous value to our licensing and planning initiatives,” Dustin Simmons, Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development for Nichino America said in the company’s announcement.

Taking the role of eastern region sales manager is Amanda Carson who has been with Nichino America since 2016. Carson joined the company as a technical sales representative and most recently product manager who oversaw the launches of PQZ Insecticide and Gatten Fungicide.

“Amanda’s innate leadership combined with her background in sales, marketing, and key account management make her an important asset to our sales team and channel customers,” Mike Ames, Vice President, Sales for Nichino America said in the company’s announcement.
