Marion Ag Service has announced the following team member appointments and new hires as part of their ongoing strategic plan.
John Wayland will support the horticultural market growth. Wayland has served growers for multiple decades leading advancement in the use of controlled release fertilizer and crop protection inputs. His role as horticulture business development lead will focus on fitting customer needs with Marion Ag’s Entrust Nutrition suite of controlled release fertilizer solutions.
Susan Bradley and Ashlee Spickler join the support team to help horticulture business growth. They will support the expanded horticulture team with customer relationships, order logistics and managing inventory.
Justin Horlacher will support the growth of the wholesale market segment as wholesale sales representative. Horlacher brings over 20 years of experience and will focus on working with aligned distributors to position the value of PurKote technology.
Doug Grott will work as director of sales to execute growth across all of Marion Ag’s market segments. Grott brings over 20 years of experience in ag retail and business development.
Current director of sales & marketing Jeff Freeman will transition into a new role as chief strategy & marketing officer. Freeman will lead growth and business development strategies as well as oversee marketing mixes that create value for customers.
To lead Marion Ag’s financial direction, Erin Galyean will serve as chief financial officer. Galyean is a CPA with over 2o years of experience in accounting.
