The Illinois Fertilizer & Chemical Association has appointed Jenny Webb president, effective July 20.
Webb joins IFCA from the Illinois Farm Bureau, where she most recently served as associate director of industry affairs. Her background includes work in public policy, stakeholder engagement, member relations and leadership development across Illinois agriculture.
“Jenny’s combination of agricultural knowledge, relationship-building skills, and commitment to serving the industry made her the clear choice to lead IFCA into its next chapter,” IFCA Board Chairman Nate Pierce said in the announcement.
She succeeds into the role as IFCA continues its work representing Illinois’ crop production supply and service industry on legislative, regulatory and stewardship issues. The association represents about 1,000 businesses and individuals, including agricultural retailers, fertilizer and agrichemical manufacturers, distributors, equipment suppliers and related service providers.
At Illinois Farm Bureau, Webb held roles in membership and leadership development, government affairs and industry affairs. According to IFCA, her experience included overseeing statewide programs, supporting policy initiatives and working with agribusiness, academic and industry groups.
IFCA is governed by a 15-member board and provides advocacy, compliance assistance, safety training and professional development for the crop input industry. This announcement comes after KJ Johnson left IFCA at the end of 2025 to become director of government relations at Illinois Soybean Association.
