The Growmark System will welcome a new class of 95 interns for the summer of 2024 starting on May 13. Interns were selected during a competitive application process for placement in two different internship programs within the Growmark System.
The Exploring Agriculture Internship Program welcomes 44 students whose internship will be focused on operations, equipment and technology for scouting, facilities, maintenance and repair, and learning about the Growmark System. This program is designed for first or second-year college students who are seeking to explore the field of agriculture as a potential career path.
The Growmark Internship Program welcomes 51 students whose internships will be business-focused, with opportunities for networking and development throughout the summer. The Growmark intern class allows students to gain exposure in areas such as business, marketing, recruiting, accounting, IT innovation, and product and service-related activities.
“We’re eager to welcome our new class of interns and provide them with a unique, hands-on experience to learn about agriculture and what it means to be a cooperative,” said Student Recruiting Manager, Madison Kimpling. “Both programs will help give students more clarity on what they want to do after they graduate and the career paths available to them in the agriculture industry.”
Growmark’s Internship Program is celebrating its 65th anniversary while the Exploring Ag program is in its 11th year.
