Growers, a North Carolina-based agriculture technology company, has announced Steven Harrelson as its new chief operating officer.

Harrelson comes from a background in ag retail with roles including agronomy, energy and feed product line sales and working with manufacturers and distributors. 

"We’re excited to welcome Steven Harrelson to Growers as our chief operating officer and look forward to leveraging his extensive experience in agriculture retail and deep industry relationships," said Steven Valencsin, Growers CEO. "Steven's leadership will be instrumental in refining our offering and approach to meet the evolving needs of both farmers and retailers. His leadership will strengthen our ability to deliver innovative technology and enhance how farmers and retailers do business together."

His position at Growers will involve working to drive sales, further commercialize the Growers platform and improve customer experience.
