ReGenerator From Biolevel
Biolevel Ltd., is offering a new biological treatment, called ReGenerator, designed to accelerate crop stubble decomposition.
The product contains a blend of fungal and bacterial microorganisms that break down cellulose and lignin, transforming plant matter into essential nutrients without harming live plants. This process also degrades pesticide residues and allelopathic compounds, improving soil health and crop rotation.
“Groundbreaking product innovation continues to be a core priority for Biolevel,” said Lutz Glandorf, president and co-founder of Biolevel. “With the introduction of ReGenerator, we’ve taken another step in rounding out our portfolio of products that improve farm productivity better than others on the market.”
The company says ReGenerator increases the availability of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, which could potentially boost crop yields. Its recommended application window is post-harvest or at the end of a growing season.
“We know that residue management is a major factor for farmers,” said Josh Seemann, business development manager of Biolevel. “Farmers who are able to best manage will be the ones that have higher yield performance, which leads to higher profits. ReGenerator is the go-to tool for any farmer looking to add a top-tier resource to their toolbelt.”
Sound Agriculture’s New Grower Incentives
Sound Agriculture launches new grower incentives (called the Efficient Acre Solution and the Maximum Acre Solution) for the 2025 growing season aimed toward growers who are interested in trying synthetic fertilizer replacement, as well as those who are experienced in the practice.
“We are dedicated to discovering new methods to help growers maintain productive agricultural systems in ways that are more profitable and better for the land,” said Adam Litle, CEO, Sound Agriculture. “This includes the launch of a new product, Blueprint, that synergizes perfectly with our flagship product, Source. By pairing these products with financial incentives that reward growers for adopting practices that are better for the planet, growers can save money while eliminating risk.”
The company says they developed Efficient Acre Solution for growers who are wanting ways to reduce fertilizer and also add new sources of income. In order to be eligible to participate, producers must use Source to replace 25 lb. of nitrogen and/or phosphorus.
The program includes:
- Financial Incentives: Corn growers can earn up to $10 per acre for replacing synthetic nutrients with Source, available on up to 350,000 acres in 2024-25.
- Guaranteed Yield Protection: If yield is not maintained, Sound Agriculture will reimburse growers up to $100 per acre.
- Risk-Free Adoption: This program eliminates the financial risk of replacing synthetic fertilizer with Source.
The Maximum Acre solution is intended for growers who are already efficient with fertilizer applications and are looking to maximize their yield potential.
This method combines Source with a new biological, Blueprint, to enhance nutrient and water uptake. The company says when used together, Source leads to more available nutrients while Blueprint gets the nutrients and water to the plants. The increased access to nutrients helps the crops survive in high-stress environments.
“The 2024 season taught us valuable lessons about managing nutrient efficiency amid extreme weather conditions,” said Paul Beck, CRO, Sound Agriculture. “Our new solutions are designed to help growers achieve better yields while protecting the environment and their bottom line.”
Trivar EZ Fertilizer From CHS
CHS has released the first of six new products designed to enhance growers’ crop yields. Trivar EZ is an enhanced granular micronutrient fertilizer blend with Levesol chelating agent that works to improve the availability of micronutrients to crops.
“CHS is dedicated to providing innovative agricultural solutions to farmers and retailers to support growers’ profitability,” said Brian Kuehl, senior director of research and development at CHS. Trivar EZ helps growers make the most of their crop nutrient investment for solid economic returns.”
Trivar EZ is meant to be incorporated into dry commodity fertilizer products to aid in early plant growth. The Levesol agent helps boost the overall efficiency of the plant’s nutrient uptake by preventing phosphorus from bonding with soil micronutrients.
“It’s the Levesol chelate, patented by CHS, that makes Trivar EZ a very efficient granular micronutrient blend,” Kuehl said.
Additional CHS products to look for in the 2025 season include:
- Abivium: a graphite flow talc with micronutrients and a biostimulant
- Soygreen Pro: concentrated liquid iron product to alleviate iron deficiency chlorosis (IDC) in soybean fields
- Soygreen Granular 2.4: granular iron formulation for air seeder applications to treat IDC
- Allocate ZN: concentrated zinc to add to dry commodity fertilizers
- Allocate BCMZ: concentrated micronutrient formulation to add to dry commodity fertilizers
