GreenPoint Ag has rebranded its technology and agronomy platform to be AccuField.

“I am excited to announce the rebranding of our ag technology and agronomy platform, AccuField,” said Amy Winstead, Vice President, Business Innovation & Agronomy at GreenPoint Ag. “While our look has changed, our dedication to providing superior service, support and value to our customers still remains our focus.”

With more than $1 billion in sales, GreenPoint Ag is headquartered in Decatur, Alabama, and is a supplier in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, and Texas. The company says it services 28 million acres.

The new AccuField puts a spotlight on the company’s three initiatives—innovate, grow, and sustain. The platform was built on five pillars:

  1. Fertility and Planting Solutions
  2. In-Season Decision Support
  3. Machine Calibration
  4. Data Management
  5. Profitability and ROI

With the rebranded product, GreenPoint Ag’s team will continue to serve farmers in the same structure—regionally located ag tech specialists working with the agronomy team.

For almost 10 years, AccuField and its predecessor has been developed to bring together precision soil sampling, variable rate application, agronomics, yield data, site-specific hybrid selection and data management.

There are new tools such as a return-on-investment calculator which applies a farmer’s production budget to yield maps and calculates profitability mapped to their field on a sub-acre level.

A new proprietary tool available with AccuField is for geospatial seed placement. This brings in trial results from county, state, university and GreenPoint’s field trials.

And there’s a tool focusing on sustainability highlighting stewardship and profitability.
