In March, ARA members are invited to participate in the annual legislative fly-in event. The fly-in is an opportunity for ag retailers to tell their stories firsthand to members of Congress, their staff and policymakers in the administration. Bringing these voices to Washington is critical to reinforce the work the ARA staff does year-round to represent the priorities of ag retailers and the industry. This event will be held virtually in 2022, with meetings happening over a series of weeks by ARA region.

During the fly-in, ARA will also continue its recognition of leaders by presenting its Legislator of the Year Award to a member or members of Congress who have championed the industry through their legislative work.
