Nufarm Announces New Marketing Manager

Chris Bowley will oversee leading crop protection products including Panther Pro pre-emergent herbicide for soybeans, Credit Xtreme with dual salt glyphosate technology, Gin Out cotton plant growth regulator, and more.

In mid-April Nufarm announced Chris Bowley as the new customer and brand marketing manager for the crop protection company’s broadacre products. Bowley brings more than 25 years of agricultural and manufacturing experience to the role, most recently with UPL where he was responsible for product management of agricultural herbicides.

Bowley’s role at Nufarm will include enhancing the customer experience through improving awareness and knowledge of Nufarm’s offerings in broadacre agriculture. He will report to the vice president of customer and brand marketing for North America, Ken Barham.

“Chris brings a wealth of experience in both agriculture and chemical manufacturing that will prove to be a major asset to Nufarm as we continue to grow in North America,” Barham said in a press release. “He is an innovative thinker and an industry leader. Our team is very excited to have him on board.”

Bowley also brings prior product management, marketing and sales experience from FMC Corporation and Cheminova, Inc. He holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in biological sciences from Thames Valley University in England.

Bowley will oversee leading crop protection products including Panther Pro pre-emergent herbicide for soybeans, Credit Xtreme with dual salt glyphosate technology, Gin Out cotton plant growth regulator, and more.
