As farmers sharpen pencils for another high-cost crop year, Meristem Crop Performance says it will keep its 2027 prices flat.
The company made the announcement Monday during its annual Breakthrough to Excellence event where it hosts dealer partners from across the country.
“Farmers are fighting for every dollar right now, and Meristem is fighting right alongside them,” said Meristem founder and CEO Mitch Eviston. “Holding our prices flat is how we double down to serve the American farmer. When costs everywhere else keep going up, the last thing a grower needs is more price increases from a supplier.”
Meristem says its pricing strategy is supported by a business model built around efficiency. The company points to its use of concentrated products, rather than shipping water, as one way it reduces cost in the system. It also cites its low-cost production and service model, along with highly concentrated biologicals and active ingredients delivered through its patented Bio-Capsule™ system.
In addition to holding prices steady, Meristem rolled out three programs aimed at helping dealers and farmers manage costs and improve returns heading into the 2027 season.
Those programs include:
- 0% financing through Meristem Farm Growth Financial — designed to give dealers and growers access to no-interest financing on Meristem products.
- $60-per-acre replant protection — tied to Hopper Throttle® MaxStax™ Soybean planter-box treatment, which the company says can replace traditional liquid seed treatment.
- Feed the Beast — a program offering no-cost foliar products when paired with Hopper Throttle® MaxStax™ Corn to support season-long plant health and crop protection.
“These programs are about giving our dealers and their farmers every possible advantage and more options to take cost out,” Eviston said.
Meristem has positioned itself around helping farmers “produce more bushels for less,” with a focus on biologicals, crop input efficiency and concentrated delivery systems designed to reduce waste in the input supply chain. This includes its live, in-field biological delivery through its Bio-Capsule technology platform.
