HELM Agro US, Inc., a global manufacturer of high-quality crop protection and fertilizer products, announces the hiring of Brock Waggoner as Sales Agronomist for the Midwest region and Mary Josephson as Regional Sales Manager for the Northern Corn Belt.
For Waggoner, primary responsibilities in his new position will include technical training and education, development and technical sales support for the company’s Midwest crop protection product line. Waggoner will also oversee field trials that support product development and marketing efforts in that same geography.
“Brock’s proven track record will greatly contribute to our success in bringing new proprietary solutions to market over the next several years,” Aaron Locker, Vice President of Sales with HELM Agro US said in an announcement. “HELM’s investment in exceptional talent like Brock is an important part of our growth, and we look forward to putting his knowledge to work.”
According to Locker, Waggoner’s role as Sales Agronomist is a newly created position within the organization to increase the level of agronomic services offered to its distributor and retailer partners across the Midwest.
Waggoner joins the organization with more than 10 years of experience. Most recently he served as Technology Development Manager for UPL’s Crop Establishment division. Prior to that Waggoner held the position of Field Biology Manager for NewLeaf Symbiotic. Waggoner has also worked for Monsanto and Stone Seeds in the areas of sales and product development.
For Josephson, she will be responsible for promoting and initiating sales of HELM crop protection products while delivering added value to channel and grower customers in northern Illinois, northeast Iowa, eastern Minnesota and Wisconsin.
“Mary has a long history of producing results and brings a wealth of experience, diverse skills and high level of enthusiasm to her territory, Locker said in an announcement. “She will be an important asset to the team as we continue to increase customer interaction and bring new proprietary products to market. We are excited to put Mary’s expertise and leadership to work for creating greater value in the marketplace.”
Previously Josephson worked for Winfield Solutions LLC. as a Marketing Manager for key agronomic grower programs. Josephson has also worked in the commercial packaging and animal feed industries in the areas of marketing, supply chain, human resources and sales for Gelpac, Inc., El Dorado Packaging, Inc., Land O’ Lakes and Farmland Industries, Inc.
