Growmark, Inc. announced the election of a new Chairman to its Board of Directors. Kevin Malchine of Waterford, Wisconsin will serve as chairman effective immediately.

Malchine previously served as a vice chair on the Growmark Board of Directors, in addition to operating a corn and soybean farm with his wife Kelly, and his brother and nephew. He has served on the Board since 2012.

“It is an honor to serve in this leadership position of the GROWMARK System,” said Malchine. “With more than 7,000 employees across North America, this System is a key part of food and energy chains and I look forward to working with leadership to ensure we are able to leverage the size and talents of this System to keep our customers on the leading edge of technology as we help them to become even more profitable.”

Malchine replaces John Reifsteck, who retired as Chairman in November after 10 years in the role, and more than 30 years serving on the Growmark Board of Directors.

In addition to Malchine’s election, Jason Lay of Bloomington, Ill., and Dennis Neuhaus of Hoyleton, Ill., were elected as vice chairmen. Kevin Herink of Clutier, Iowa, was retained as secretary of the Growmark Board.
