After being formed in September 2020 with the additional operations of Agri-AFC and Tennessee Farmers Cooperative’s wholesale agronomy, GreenPoint Ag has announced new leadership positions for its retail business, wholesale business, members services and internal functions.
“I am incredibly excited to share good news as we continue with the natural progression of bringing three strong companies together into one,” Jeff Blair, GreenPoint Ag President and CEO said in a news release. “Having the right leaders in place is key to our success, and I am confident that these are the right people. I am appreciative of the leadership each of the team members brings to GreenPoint Ag and look forward to the future.”
Joey Caldwell will serve as Vice President of Retail for GreenPoint Ag and oversee the operations of the company’s 82 retail locations. Caldwell was previously general manager of Tipton Farmers Cooperative in Covington, TN.
The business has been divided into four geographic regions. Leaders for those regions include:
- Greg Sadler, Southwest Region
- Gene Hurt, South Central Region
- Chris Casey, Southeast Region
- Emmett Gadberry, Mid-South Region
On the wholesale side of the business, Mark McDonald joins the company as vice president of wholesale and direct the day-to-day operations of the company’s 22 wholesale locations. McDonald was previously president of sales and market at Intrepid.
Under the leadership of McDonald, GreenPoint Ag’s wholesale business will be led by:
- Bryan Johnson, Director of Seed
- Mackie Sides, Director of Crop Protection Products
- Chris Carter, Director of Crop Nutrients
- Dawn Matlock, Director of Professional Products
Additional new leadership roles include:
- Terry Kelley, Vice President of Member Services
- Willis DeKruif, Chief Financial Officer,
- Amy Winstead, Director of Business Innovation and Technology
- Sara Williams, Director of Marketing and Communications and
- Kent McPherson, interim leader of Human Resources
- Tim Bogy, interim leader of Safety
