Delivered via drip irrigation, Verdesian Life Sciences’ Lyra is a nutrient management tool formulated for fertigation.

Lyra provides both nutrient management and biostimulant benefits. Formulated for specialty crops, Lyra is built with Verdesian’s co-polymer Take Off technology to stabilize nutrients, increase their availability season-long, and reduce nitrate leaching. Lyra also features Plus technology for greater plant growth and flora production.

“Lyra is a unique tool in the market that combines three technologies into one, designed to improve nutrient availability and utilization and to help with nitrate stewardship. Applied in conjunction with and proportional to seasonal Nitrogen needs, Lyra has shown very strong performance in the field in a variety of crops, and we are excited to showcase this new product to growers this season.” Tyrus Oakes, Verdesian’s Product Marketing Director, said in a product announcement.

The company says the product’s use leads increased tolerance for abiotic stress to optimize fruit set, quality and yield. And trials show a strong yield improvement against the grower’s standard nitrogen management practices.
