SIMPAS-applied Solutions (SaS) is adding more products as part of its prescriptive applied inputs with the planter pass.
The new products are iNvigorate, which is a biological aiming to improve nutrient uptake, and Verdesian’s MicroSync IronClad IDC micronutrient.
iNvigorate was developed by Agrinos, which is now part of American Vanguard Company. The product is marketed as a consortium of microbes applied to the soil to assist with nutrient uptake, improve fertilizer efficiency and optimize root growth. It can be used in corn and soybeans.
AMVAC and Verdesian further expand their partnership to offer products via SaS by adding MicroSync IronClad IDC micronutrient, which targeted for use in soybeans grown in areas with high pH and a history of iron deficiency chlorosis (IDC).
The portfolio already includes liquid and granular products:
- AZTEC HC SmartCartridge Insecticide
- COUNTER 20G SmartCartridge Insecticide / Nematicide
- Force 10G HL SmartCartridge Insecticide
- Verdesian’s MicroSync ZINC micronutrient
All SaS products are applied with the SmartCartridge container technology, and multiple products (which now span insecticides, fungicides, nematicides, and micronutrients) can be applied simultaneously. The SIMPAS Application System is available through Trimble dealers.
