In mid-April, ServiTech unveiled a project that has been two years in the making—the Bridge Field Intelligence platform. Available for the 2019 season, the consulting and ag laboratory cooperative developed this as a tool to combine in-field sensors, soil tests, remote imagery, weather data, crop growth modeling and more.
“We want to give farmers an easy way to make field-level and sub-field-level decisions,” says Greg Ruehle, President and CEO of ServiTech.

The new technology product has a two-pronged approach in serving the ag retail market. Bridge will be used by the ServiTech team across its geography spanning Colorado, Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa.
“Our agronomists will work with their farmers leveraging this technology across the more than 1 million acres we soil sample. And we are making this available to others in ag retail to ‘white label’ so they can use the technology with their customers,” Ruehle explains.

Bridge Field Intelligence is available for desktop and mobile use. The subscription-based service includes customizable views for as well as alerts for key parameters.
Ruehle says a key part in developing Bridge has been making sure it’s compatible with other ag technologies to accept data and share data as easily as possible.

“We are going to offer a range of features as part of Bridge with many more on the horizon including tank level monitoring and grain bin monitoring,” he says.
