Raven Debuts OMNiDRIVE on Case IH Magnum
Raven is putting the spotlight on its autonomous product lineup and debuting the Omnidrive installed on a Case IH Magnum tractor. It was announced in June that CNH Industrial was acquiring Raven for $2.1 billion.
Now, Omnidrive, which is the technology Raven is using to transform tractors into driverless machines, is compatible with:
- Case IH Magnum CVT (2014-2020 models): M250 / 280 / 310 / 340 / 380
- New Holland CVT (2014-2020 models): T8.320 / 350 / 380 / 410 / 435
- John Deere 8Rs Powershift and IVT (2010-current models)
Omnidrive was released in May of 2021 with 75 aftermarket systems as part of the limited release. All of those have been committed to by dealers in the Raven network. Additionally, Raven is doing in-field demos of Omnidrive controlling a driverless tractor pulling a grain cart and operated synchronized with the combine. Click here to see those events.
The Omnidrive events are hosted in conjunction with Founders Club dealers, which are Raven dealers who have agreed to intensive training and demonstration requirements specific to autonomy.
“We recognize the challenges our farmers face daily,” Jim Lilleberg, Director of Precision Ag and Machine Control for Titan Machinery, Inc., said in a news release. “Labor shortages, the need for efficiency improvements and scalability are all problems that OMNiDRIVE, now available for Case IH Magnum tractors, helps solve. We pride ourselves on being at the forefront of cutting-edge technology and the trusted partner to help enable it for our farmers. We feel this is the next major revolution in agriculture, and we are excited to be part of it!”
Omnidrive is part of Raven’s Omnipower platform—which is how the company is brining forward autonomous technologies to agriculture.
