Equipment Technologies introduced and grew its lineup of Apache sprayers with mechanical drive designs. Now, the company is entering its 25th year in 2021, and for the upcoming model year introducing its first-ever hydrostatic sprayer.

CEO Matt Hays says the company did multiple years of testing before announcing the new sprayer design for the HS1100, which also features up to 70” of crop clearance.

“This is the only rear boom high clearance sprayer in North America,” he says adding there are now three manufacturers offering self-propelled sprayers with 70” clearance.

“We are famous for a mechanical drive sprayer, but we recognized there are some attributes and value to using hydrostatic driven sprayers,” Hays says. “We think these sprayers can be sold in a way that is very complementary to our existing product line.”

Additional sprayers in the Apache lineup include:

AS650

Hays calls this model “the best kept secret in the sprayer market.” This is a entry-level model sprayer for farmers who may be purchasing their first new self-propelled sprayer. It features 650 gal. tank capacity, 42” or 48” crop clearance, and boom options of 90’, 60/90’ or Pommier 100’ aluminum.

AS850

This is an updated version of the AS840 sprayer. The new AS850 is designed for the corn belt and the wheat market in the plains. This is an 800-gal. sprayer with boom options up to 132’.

AS1050

This is the best-selling machine for Equipment Technologies. The AS1050 has 1,000 gal. tank capacity and is available with up to 50” crop clearance. Boom options stretch up to 132’ and Hays also notes a high take rate on Pommier boom options for this model.

AS1250/AS1250XP

Hays notes the category of 1000+ gal. sprayers is the fastest growing and he says “This is my favorite model—it’s one bad sprayer.” While being the largest capacity sprayers in the Apache lineup, the models still maintain the brand’s promise of being among the lightest weight machines in their industry categories.

The XP model has increased horsepower—300 hp vs the standard 260. Both models feature 1,200 gal. tank capacity and boom options up to 132’.
