“We know from research and investigation that folks like the Rogator legacy. The path has become clear—Rogator will live under the Fendt umbrella," says AGCO's David Fickel.

AGCO introduces its latest application machine and ushers in its next generation of Rogators.
The Fendt Rogator 900 is designed to be an all-season machine boasting versatility with:

  •     One-button transformation from standard-clearance to high-clearance in less than 45 seconds
  •     Quick change over from liquid to dry systems in less than two hours

“There is really no time of the year this machine can’t run,” says David Fickel, Fendt senior marketing manager.

As the first machine branded both with Fendt and Rogator names, Fickel says this is a ushering in a new era for application equipment for AGCO. The project has been in development for five years with the prototypes in the field for testing for the past 3 seasons.

“We definitely want to pull the best thing from the previous generation of Rogators. And this gives a full line of equipment for the Fendt brand globally. This machine is made on the same grounds as every Rogator in Jackson, Minnesota. It has the ruggedness that people come to expect with the Rogator C series C channel frame, SmartDrive system and Liquid Logic.”

Fickel highlights the Fendt style cab for enhanced operator comfort.

“Safety is a big thing, and this cab has a level of filtration unmatched by any other offering,” he says.

What does it mean for Rogators to now sport the Fendt brand? Fickel explains this machine will first be available via the Fendt dealer network. In the future, the next series of Rogators will start carrying the Fendt brand, and yellow painted machines will still be available via pre-sale to ag retailers.

“This is the H Series introducing the high clearance machines. We will have three more models coming with standard clearance,” he says. “We know from research and investigation that folks like the Rogator and TerraGator legacy. The path has become clear—Rogator will live under the Fendt umbrella.”
