Eldon C Stutsman, an ag retailer headquartered in Iowa, will now sell Meristem’s product portfolio.

“What my grandfather started back in 1934 as just one man and a truck is now a diversified, fourth-generation family business that serves Iowa, the Midwest and the U.S.,” says Mark Stutsman, COO of Eldon Stutsman, Inc. “Innovation and adaptation are core values for us – it’s our intent to always be bringing a new advantage to our farmer-customers that will help them win on every acre.”

Stutsman will offer:

  • Hopper Throttle planter box treatments
  • Revline biologicals and plant growth regulators
  • Trutrack drift control
  • Aquadraft water conditioners and surfactants
  • Upshift starter fertilizers
  • Homestretch micronutrients and foliar nutritionals
  • Excavator, powered by Microbilize, a new biological designed to break down tough crop residue and release nutrients faster

“The Stutsman family and their team are really well-known in Iowa for helping every customer they serve make the most of every seed they plant and win consistently, season after season,” said Mitch Eviston, Meristem Founder and CEO, in announcing the agreement. “We’re excited to be able to come alongside to help them serve those farmers and gain from their field experience as we add new products.”

Tyler Stutsman, Mark’s son and in the fourth-generation to be involved in the operation, adds: “Meristem is bringing this innovative biological technology to more acres, and we want our farmers to benefit from it. Bringing innovation to our growers is the only reason we are still around and still growing ourselves. Meristem’s focus on locally-owned independent farm business fits perfectly with our own family approach to serving agriculture.”
