Urge Congress to Support Surface Transportation Reauthorization Bill
As Congress begins the process of approving a five-year surface transportation reauthorization bill for years 2021 through 2025, ARA is calling on members to send a message urging them to modernize regulations. America’s agribusinesses rely on an efficient and economic intermodal transportation system, which is why it’s crucial to urge Congress to support an increase of federal transportation funding and a modernization of regulations that burden commercial truck drivers and agricultural retail businesses.

ARA Signs Comments to Surface Transportation Board on Rules & Charges
ARA signed on to comments sent to the Surface Transportation Board (STB) from the National Grain and Feed Association (NGFA) on Nov. 6. In the letter, NGFA calls on the STB to consider evaluating the reasonableness of demurrage and accessorial rules and charges. Read the full letter.
