On June 21, the Supreme Court handed down a decision in South Dakota v Wayfair, closing a loophole that barred states from imposing sales taxes on most purchases their residents make from out-of-state retailers.

This will have a great impact on ARA’s members that conduct online sales, and we will continue to monitor the steps that follow this ruling.
