Columbia Grain International now offers a Bushel-powered mobile app and web portal for its 8,000 farmer customers. The Bushel platform helps its agribusiness customers quickly share accurate information to producers through a custom-branded application for smartphones and desktop.

"We are committed to streamlining the work and efficiencies of our producers to ensure they get the information they need to increase their success. Our new Columbia Grain International mobile app allows them to have intentional conversations about market trends rather than having to look up the information," said Jeff Van Pevenage, CEO and President of Columbia Grain International. “We’re excited to share this technology with our growers to cultivate the further growth of our digital offerings."
Columbia Grain International purchases and processes grains, pulses, oilseeds, and organics.

Now all 60 grain storage and processing centers in the Columbia Grain network offer farmers the ability to:

  • View scale tickets
  • Check futures
  • Track grain contracts
  • View commodity balances
  • Receive important notifications
  • See key location information
  • Read the latest market news

“The Bushel app enables me to view delivery tickets almost instantaneously once the load hits the pit at the elevator. It gives me the ability to quickly view open contracts and purchase settlements. It also provides up-to-date cash bids and futures pricing. It’s a true one-stop-shop,” said Martin Poxleitner, a farmer near Grangeville, Idaho. ”I utilize the cash bid feature daily and view delivery tickets every day I haul wheat into the elevator.”

The app is available for Android and iPhone devices.
