Intelinair has incorporated its ongoing ag retailer research and product development to introduce the AGMRI Enterprise Platform. This enhanced version of the AGMRI platform provides up-to-date and aggregated views of customer fields.
As Kevin Krieg, Director of Product Marketing for Intelinair explains this is a next generation in the offering of the AGMRI product.
“We just finished the in-depth testing with retailers on this product, and as has been our process, their feedback and really helped drive the improvements and new features we are offering,” Krieg says.
New features include:
- Dashboard - quick access to all customer fields, a list of the worst fields through a holistic view of all challenges and then ability to filter and see weed pressure, emergence, yield risk and nutrient deficiency.
“The dashboard brings all of the functionality of AGMRI into one location and serves retailers the way they are structured to view,” he says. “So sales agronomists see just their farmer accounts. And sales managers see a rolled up view of all accounts.”
In the dashboard, account holders are able to view alerts for fields as well as assign farmers as “Favorites” to show their alerts in a prioritized order.
“This gives retailers a task list. It’s what needs attention right now, and it helps them keep evolving and developing issues top of mind,” Krieg says.
- Virtual Scout - a bird’s-eye view of the field layered with Intelinair technology to see issues before the naked eye could see them.
“This gives retailers efficiency in how they use their in-field scouting,” Krieg says. “It’s not about replacing boots in the field, but rather allowing retailers to send those boots to exactly where the issues are developing before they become even bigger problems. It can give them a head start.”
Another feature available on AGMRI is a prospecting tool that is unlocked at an elevated subscription level. This allows an account holder to switch views from their farmer account fields to be the surrounding fields with third-party farmer/owner information.
“The Prospect Tab is being used by about 35 to 40% of our accounts today. It’s a lead generating tool for that retailer to show how they are monitoring agronomic issues and can take those opportunities to prospective farmer accounts,” Krieg says.
The AGMRI and AGMRI Enterprise platforms are supported by either in-season aerial imagery or satellite imagery. Aerial imagery is available in select areas of Illinois and Indiana, and satellite imagery is available in the U.S. and Canada.
