The Ag Container Recycling Council has named Mark Hudson as executive director. Hudson brings 26 years of experience to the organization.

Hudson’s specialties lie primarily in supply chain and general management. For FMC, he served as vice president of supply chain for two separate regions and for Tri-Rinse, he worked as a general manager.

Most recently, Hudson oversaw all operations at Tri Rinse, Inc., in St. Louis. His experience spans from working in Fortune 50 corporations to small and mid-sized companies.

Hudson has gained international experience in the Americas, Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Experiences like these will help Hudson in this new position says David Stengl, chairman of the ACRC board and a manager at Bayer.

"His robust background in diverse management positions and proven track record of effective leadership is a critical prerequisite to collaborate with members, recycling contractors and state/national regulatory agencies for the implementation of a national packaging waste management program,” says Stengle. “We are eager to hit the ground running with Mark and discuss new approaches and ideas to advance the council's mission."

ACRC was founded by CropLife America members. According to Jay Vroom, CLA president and CEO, ACRC has remained the primary stewardship platform for the industry ever since and he believes Hudson will continue this legacy.

"I believe that Mark has the necessary know-how to build strategic platforms in a small business and move the needle to advance crop protection efforts while furthering stewardship programs that benefit farms and the environment," says Vroom.
