Brandt Adds Former Potash Corp Exec To Its Board

Brandt announces the appointment of another industry veteran to its board of directors. G. David Delaney, most recently EVP and Chief Operating Officer of PotashCorp, will bring more than 30 years of experience in global agriculture and chemicals to the BRANDT organization.

"As we grow our business around the world, we continue to grow our leadership pool," says Rick Brandt, President and CEO of Brandt. "Dave provides the experience and expertise to help us take Brandt to the next level. He is an acknowledged industry leader with an amazing track record."

Joining 12 other directors, Delaney was elected April 27 by the Brandt shareholders at their annual meeting.

Delaney boasts a history of driving growth and transforming businesses. He spent more than 20 years at PotashCorp, working most recently as COO of the $7.2 billion fertilizer enterprise with responsibility across operations including all of Potash's business segments. Before that role, he was President, Sales where he led the centralization of the global sales function.

"I am excited to join the BRANDT board," Delaney says. "I see this as an opportunity to provide additional leadership and help set direction for one of the industry's fastest-growing companies. I look forward to bringing my experience to the BRANDT board and the company overall."

Board committee responsibilities are still being determined for Delaney.

Delaney is active on a number of boards and industry groups. He has served as chairman of the Fluid Fertilizer Association and Phosphate Chemicals Expert Association; he was director for the International Plant Nutrition Institute.
