CNH Industrial Puts Spotlight On Four Industry-Firsts in Autonomy, Alternative Fuels and Electrification
What’s the future of ag machinery look like? Well, CNH Industrial pulled back on the curtain on its vision for the future.
Four machines illustrate what the company has been able to engineer and develop specifically applying autonomy, alternative fuels, and electrification with industry firsts:
- Case IH Trident 5550 applicator with Raven Autonomy autonomous spreader
- New Holland T7 Methane Power LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) tractor
- New Holland T6 Methane Power CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) tractor
- New Holland T4 Electric Power – 100% electric utility tractor with autonomous features
The company hosted its first ever Tech Day with field demonstrations featuring all of the equipment above and more.
“Our Tech Day will show the world how CNH Industrial is leveraging our great iron to develop and deploy technology that simplifies and enhances operations; provides insightful data; and utilizes alternative power solutions – all to sustainably advance farming,” says Scott W. Wine, Chief Executive Officer, CNH Industrial. “Raven’s significant contributions to this effort will also be on full display – demonstrating how we have incorporated their capabilities and accelerated our technology offering to create customer solutions that drive efficiency and profitability.”
Beyond achievements in the field for what’s possible, CNH Industrial leaders say these technologies will build its business bigger and better. CNH Industrial forecasts a 10-15% annual growth rate across the next two to three years. Specifically due to growth in precision ag components leaders are estimating nearly $1 billion in 2023 net sales contribution, with 2022 sales in precision ag at $900 million.
