Acceleron Introduces BioRise 2 Seed Treatment

For the 2019 growing season, Acceleron introduces BioRise 2 for corn. This is a biological seed treatment package containing both Acceleron B-300 SAT and Acceleron B-360 ST focused to increase the plant’s root volume as well as making phosphate more available to the plant.

The Acceleron B-300 SAT (Penicillium bilaiae) component releases phosphate bound in the soil. The Acceleron B-360 ST (LCO SP104) component aims to enhance mycorrhizal colonization, of which studies showed the component increased mycorrhizal colonization by 85.1%. This results in increased functional root volume and the uptake of water and nutrient via the roots.

Monsanto says BioRise 2 will be available on all Class of 2017, 2018 and 2019 base genetics.
