Mitchell Hora, Mike Langseth, and Jodi DeJong-Hughes will join AgDay’s Clinton Griffiths for a conversation on how to dial in conservation tillage on Oct. 27 at 8 a.m. This program is brought to you in partnership with TrustInFood.com and America’s Conservation Ag Movement.
Here’s a sneak peek at the panelists:
Mitchell Hora is a farmer and young entrepreneur from Washington, Iowa. His family has farmed in the area for over 100 years and has a strong focus on conservation. When Mitchell is not working with his father on their row crop farm, he runs a consulting company, Continuum Ag, and hosts a podcast focused on soil health.
Jodi DeJong-Hughes is a University of Minnesota extension researcher who helped lead a tillage study with other researchers from North Dakota State University to see how conservation tillage affects crop yield and soil type in comparison to the traditional chisel plow and field cultivate.
Mike Langseth is a corn and soybean farmer in the southwest North Dakota, and he collaborated with DeJong-Hughes on the tillage study.
